SQL Data Warehouse Developer W-2 ONLY
Our client in the Plymouth Meeting, PA area is looking for a SQL/SSIS Data Warehouse Developer to join their team.
This is starting as a contract role with a well-known organization.
Position Description:
The SQL/SSIS data warehouse engineer will be assigned to help with the migration of our PAP application from our legacy organization to a new system.
This migration will require design and development of pipelines for new applications replacing our current PAP system.
The source we are pulling from is Microsoft SQL Server and the Warehouse is SQL Server (currently SQL 2016 but moving to Azure in the coming months).
Assisting with code updates to moves the SQL for the current PAP SSRS report to the warehouse (probably move from SSRS to Tableau) There will be minor feeds that need to be completed to assist with moving some of our smaller application We have a defined model process that follows the Inmon warehouse approach Design warehouse table model for the source tables in ER Studio Map the data between the source application and the data warehouse Code the SQL to load the data in the warehouse.
Perform unit testing on the newly coded pipeline.
Required Skills:
Very strong SQL skill set with the ability to create base SSIS packages.
Ability to code and tune SQL queries Strong all around application troubleshooting stills.
