Our client, a financial services firm in Blue Bell, is seeking a Human Resources Manager. The HR Manager will handle the daily operational activities for Human Resources as well as all phases of the employee lifecycle including recruiting, on-boarding/off-boarding, training administration, benefit management, performance management, salary/bonus administration as well as employee relations.

Duties include, but are not limited to:
Work directly with hiring managers to facilitate the hiring process including posting positions, schedule interviews, manage candidate correspondence, develop competitive offers and extend offers
Facilitate all new hire paperwork and processing in coordination with internal departments
Manage the new hire and exit workflow processes
Conduct new hire orientation
Manage all benefit enrollment, terminations, changes, updates and renewals
Own the information and requirements related to the Affordable Care Act (ACA)
Assist in the training and development activities for the firm which may include setting up training activities, giving input to new sessions, helping establish quarterly meeting agendas
Responsible for managing approved employee relations programs; identify and recommend new opportunities
Facilitate the performance management process
Manage the promotion process with senior firm leaders
Facilitate the salary administration and bonus planning processes
Responsible for generating annual budget and maintaining expenses within defined thresholds
Identify areas of potential improvement to increase efficiency and cost effectiveness


5-7 years of general Human Resource experience with at least 2 years of concentrated experience in one of the following areas: talent acquisition, benefit administration, talent development, performance management or compensation
College degree required; HR related major or concentration a plus
PHR or SHRM-CP required
Must exhibit professionalism and discretion at all times
Proven ability to coordinate and execute on multiple initiatives simultaneously
Knowledge and experience with the regulations of the ACA a plus
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication sills

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
