Day to Day Work
This position, in the Global Operations Tools and Reporting Group, is a key contributor to enhance and support various software tool sets, reporting solutions, processes and analysis for the Unisys service delivery organizations and their management globally.
The position focuses on project reporting, resource productivity reporting, and data warehouse integration with various excel and ERP tools and time entry tools and processes. Specifically:

Functional Reporting Lead for Project Accounting data warehouse (PADW) reporting , Professional Services Staff Management data warehouse (PSSM)and RDW (Risk datawarehouse)

Reporting Lead for Unisys Global Services (USB)resource management and operatations report to manager the UGS business

SAP Web Intelligence is the primary software used for data warehouse project and productivity reporting. Project transactions from Oracle Project Accounting are interfaced to PADW along with project based information from other internal ERP modules. Actual time input from Oracle Project Accounting and forecast time from Oracle Project Management are interfaced to PSSM along with human resource information from Peoplesoft .

Lead continual improvement and support of the business intelligence environment which provides project and professional services reporting across multiple organizations and groups in Unisys using projects to manage their environment.

Develop functional requirements to meet evolving business needs of project managers, project controllers, resource managers and business unit management; design/develop/test enhancements to the reporting environment in conjunction with IT.

Create and publish new reports as part of maintaining a corporate library of reports, train and support report writers, and develop user training and communications along with providing first level user support. Currently 250 plus reports are in the various reporting libraries.

Maintain and update PADW and PSSM summary logic. Both PADW and PSSM includes summary logic to aggregate transactions into customized financial and productivity views. Provide IT with updates to this logic when impacted by changes to business processes, internal project financial management views, accounting, or the corporate productivity policy.

Support IT in the functional testing of upgrades and enhancements to the PSA (Professional Services Automation) toolset including Web Intelligence, Oracle Project Accounting, and Oracle Project Management. PSA is a toolset which strives to improve project success through an integrated suite of web-based applications designed for the services business focused on Project Management, Resource Management and Project Financials.

Support the functional design, test, implementation and training for business process changes or PSA software changes to maximize global skills and labor optimization and project profitability.

Provide design input for report integration into the PSR (Project Status Report) as well as PSR to PADW data feeds.

Provide functional support for actual and forecast time input toolsets, related reporting and processes to support Webtime entry.
Technical & Behavioral Skills
Solidfinancial acumen or background
Demonstrated understanding of services delivery model in a project based environment
Knowledge of Oracle Project Accounting, Oracle Project Management, and SAP WebIntelligence
Analytical skill and ability to link systems and integrate meaningful data
Quantitative Ability
Ability to work in a fast paced environment with shifting priorities
Business Degree; advanced degree (e.g., MBA) preferred
