Will assist attorneys paying particular attention to the medical aspects of cases in litigation by obtaining, organizing and summarizing medical records and related documentation, preparing medical research and consults with expert witnesses, and assist in preparing pleadings and client reports.
RN/BSN with hands-on nursing experience required.
Paralegal experience not necessary, but analytical and writing skills should be excellent, and candidate should be willing to learn litigation skills.
Duties include maintaining organized and indexed medical records in digital or paper format as requested by supervising attorney, analyzing medical records for appropriate documentation, investigating medical issues, and regular communication with health care providers, experts, and attorneys.
Must be willing to tackle projects and take initiative to find answers.
The position is a hands-on training position and you will learn as you go.
This is an excellent opportunity for the experienced RN who wants to transition from clinical nursing to an office job.
Salary commensurate with experience.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
